Obsession
I get obsessive…umm…when…when it comes to work. Recalling all my jobs, I always obsessed over my job. I was so eager to learn the new skills as quickly as possible and fully understand how my role affects the organization and customers. For example, when I was in my most recent office job, a passport agent working for the U.S. Navy, I talked and thought about the job nonstop just like a broken record and even dreamt of it very often. Thanks to my obsession, though, I was able to predict potential issues that could possibly affect the customer's life plans such as an overseas move. I would like to name that an ability to see a bigger picture.
My obsession continues as a Pilates instructor as well. My clients have wondered why I provide them post-session snacks after each lesson. Exercising does not get confined to physical activities and movements but is completed when you intake nourishment following the exercise. I am a holistic wellness professional who cares about my clients' health rather than someone who just delivers Pilates exercises. For this reason I keep studying and doing research on wellness.
